Tuition fees:

Government candidates: Rs. 4,000 per month

subsidized fee category: Rs. 26,000 per month

Full Payment fee category : Rs. 6,50,000 per year

Foreigners,

SAARC countries: US$ 9,500 per year

Non SAARC countries: US$ 12,000 per year

Admission fees / yearly fees

At start of each academic year, all candidates, including foreigners, have to pay the following Admission fees, yearly fees, etc.

First year: Rs. 69,390 plus Rs. 5610 (Total Rs. 75,000)

2nd and 3rd years: Rs. 5,610 per year

Stipend:

Government candidates will not receive any stipend from NAMS.

Sponsored candidates will not receive any stipend from NAMS ( except Bir Hosp sponsored candidates who will receive stipend as per their bond).

Other Nepali candidates will receive a stipend of Rs. 14,000 per month.

Foreign candidates will also receive a stipend of Rs. 14,000 per month.

Tuition fees:

Candidates of SAARC countries: US Dollar 9,500 per year

Candidates from other countries: US Dollar 12,000 per year

Admission fees, yearly fees, etc and other charges will have to be paid besides above amount. (These charges are NRs 75,000 for the first year and NRs 5,610 per year for the next two years). Hostel facilities are not available at present and the candidates have to make their own arrangements.

Foreign candidates will receive monthly stipend of NRs 14,000.

Fee structure for MCh/DM

Entrance Examination fee : Rs. 2000/-

Monthly tuition fees for private students Rs. 30,000/-

Monthly tuition fees for study leave granted government candidates and Faculty member of NAMS : Rs. 4000/-

Foreign candidates from SAARC countries, yearly tuition fees : US $ 10,000/-

Other foreign candidates, yearly tuition fees : US$ 15,000/-

Admission fees for first year Rs. 75,000/-

Annual charges for other years: Rs. 6,200/-

The hospital, where the candidate works as a senior resident while posted, will pay the monthly remuneration. If the monthly remuneration is less than Rs. 16,000/-, then NAMS will pay the rest or all. The government candidate may need to be posted in the NAMS for arrangement of their remuneration and allowances and they work as the senior residents for the DM/MCh programmes. Candidates who pay tuition fees at the same rate as government candidates will not receive any stipend
